The
General Counsel's Office renders legal advice
to university administrators and represents
the university in all matters including
administrative and judicial proceedings.
The office also reviews and approves all
contracts and affiliation agreements entered
into by the university. It processes subpoenas
and public record requests. It handles litigation,
including administrative hearings. It is
not authorized to render personal legal
advice to faculty/staff/administrators.
It is not authorized to render legal advice
